BHW Municipal Convention
On December 5, 2014, the first BHW Municipal Convention was held to recognize the invaluable contributions of the barangay health workers to their respective communities. Aside from the updates on the different health programs given by selected speakers from the Provincial Health Office, it was a day full of fun and games for the RHU staff and the BHWs.
In line with the Women’s Day Celebration, the Buntis Congress which started in the year 2014 showcased pregnant mothers who represented each barangay in the municipality. Prizes were given to the winners as well as two pregnant mothers who came to witness the activity.
The Garnatisadong Pambata is a national activity of the Department of Health held every April and October of the year. Its key pillars include magpasuso, magpabakuna, mag-bitamina A, magpurga, maghugas ng kamay, magsipilyo, gumamit ng palikuran and huwag manigarilyo.

Laban Niyo Mo Niya
The Laban Niyo Mo Niya is a DOH program that involve free aministration of the Pneumonia Conjugate Vaccine 13 to children 6 weeks- 11 months old. It was launched last April 15, 2015 and is available in all the barangay health stations.
Purok Health Task Force
With the theme of social mobilization, the Purok Health Task Force was born to augment the need for more health workers in the community. It is aimed to establish a group of health volunteers for each purok in all the barangays of Alubijid.
Handog sa Barangay
To ensure that health services reach all the barangays of the municipality, the RHU sponsors Handog sa Barangay every now and then to provide health services to those who cannot seek consultation at the main health center or the hospital.
Family Planning Services
Family planning services are given for free to the constituents of the municipality. Subdermal implants (Implanon) that only trained health personnel can administer are also now accessible at the RHU.
On February 14, 2014, LGU-Alubijid in coordination with the blood bank of Northern Mindanao Medical Center sponsored a bloodletting activity. This activity was conducted to create a pool of blood donors in the municipality as well as help those patients in need of immediate blood transfusions but is unable to obtain blood bag.
